Paving Patios

Example 1

• For this customer we had to retain a high bank at the rear of the garden so we constructed a vertical railway sleeper retaining wall with steps and planting.
• A fairly large deck in front of sleepers for evening sun with a patio outside patio doors. Between patio and decking a stepping stone path beside a cobbled water feature. The remaining garden was laid to lawn.

Example 2

• This customer wanted to use the red and black slabs for a nice large patio and a level lawn so we excavated the lawn and removed soil to reduce levels.
• Then we had to start construction of the steps and patio from the lowest step until we reached the patio level.
• The patio was laid using random sized paving. Topsoil was then leveled and laid to lawn leaving this garden with a spectacular curved patio and steps.
